Who is AmericanRoadShop.com?
American Road Shop was started by my wife Barb and myself
to bring to the motorcycling community unique gifts and accessories
that enhance the road trip and our sport in general. Many
of the products offered on this site are manufactured by bikers
for bikers. We pride ourselves with selling products that
have merit and that we can stand behind in both quality &
function.

Is this site safe and secure?
Yes. This site is very secure because all transactions are
encrypted by the latest technology in internet security. AThawte
certificate insures that your personal information is encrypted
and safe. Furthermore, we are certified by HackerSafe to insure
that no one is able to access our servers and retrieve private
information. Very few employees have access to customer information,
and NO employees have access to customer's credit card information.

How long will it take to get
my products?
Your order will be processed within one business day of you
placing it and you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Most
items are shipped from our stock located in our retail location
in Waterford Michigan. If an item is not in stock
we also have arrangements with many of our venders to drop
ship directly to your door.
Our products are almost always available for shipment within
one week of the order date, however occasionally an item may
be on back order from a manufacturer. If this is the case
you will be notified of your expected delivery date or given
the option to exchange or cancel the order.

Store Policies
Return Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase, returns are acceptable
within 30 days of delivery as long as the merchandise is not
used or damaged by the customer. To return an order you MUST
notify Customer Service for return procedures first. Return
shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A credit
on your account will appear within 5 business days after the
returned product is received, minus the initial shipping fee.
However, if your item has arrived damaged please see below
for warranty information. If you suspect your item is damaged
at the time of delivery you should make a note on the bill
of laden before signing it. Damaged merchandise will be accepted
and replaced without penalty.
Privacy
Your privacy is taken very seriously by AmericanRoadShop.com.
At no time will any third party have access to your name,
contact information, e-mail address, or credit card information.
In the event that we need to drop ship your order, your name
and address will only be given to the manufacturer for delivery
of your order.
Placing an Order

products are almost always available for shipment within one

back order from the factory. If this is the case you will
be notified of your expected delivery date or given the option
to exchange or cancel the order.
Payments
Please use our convenient payment methods located on the order
form. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or you can
pay by Check or Pay Pal. If you wish to pay by check please
mail your check and a copy of your order to American Road
Shop, 7554 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI 48327. Rest assured
your financial transactions are safe and secure through the
Thawt SSL Security system.
Tax
Because AmericanRoadShop.com is located in Michigan, only
customers living in the state of Michigan will be subject
to a 6% sales tax. Orders from all other states are not taxable
by ARS.
Warranty
All products come with a manufacturer's limited warranty.
If any item is proved to be defective by reason of improper
workmanship and/or material we will replace, at our discretion,
that part or the whole product at no charge to you. This warranty
does not cover defects caused by: modification, alteration
or repair of the enclosed product by anyone other than the
original manufacturer. This warrantee does not include return
shipping costs. If you need to use your warrantee please contact
Customer Service as soon as possible and you will be given
a return address and information. You must have a receipt
for your purchase.
Freight Damage
Customers should fully inspect every shipment received before
signing the bill of lading. Please note what damages were
incurred on the bill of lading before signing. If you incur
any damages during shipping please contact Customer Service
for instructions.
